Yeah, that's right, jump start didn't work-----just clicks from the starter motor. My BMW dealer will replace the battery 100% and they're $190.00 now! Two year warranty.

Yesterday I had a weird experience with my 2007 R1200R. I had already ridden 300 miles and was traveling at about 40 MPH when it totally shut down, like I turned off the key. 03/14/08 - Oil Filter Substitute
I have a 2007 R1200R and just acquired a couple of BMW motorcycle oil filters that are identical in everything except the length is about 50% longer----more oil volume. These filters were used on 2006 R1150Rs and other similar BMWs. Can anyone think of a reason why I shouldn't use these filters as opposed to the shorter ones?

I have a 2007 R1200R and am looking for front & rear brake pads that are equivalent to the OEM set. Any of yoos guys have experience with other brands? I did a FORUM search here, but didn't find anything about it.
12/23/07 - Lime Yellow Jacket
Does anyone know where I can find a lime yellow reflective motorcycle jacket like the ones I see British ‘cycle cops wearing? Seems like the non ‘cycle cops wear them too, but maybe a slightly different design. I searched the ‘net, but only found a cheap windbreaker type of imitation.
