24 HRS TO TULSA
In order to attend the 2008 Ironbutt Association Meet I needed to be an IBA member. Membership for newbies was offered if you rode over 24 hours to Tulsa.
I left Atlanta at 6am EST and ran I-20 West to Dallas to hit Rush hour then up to Tulsa Oklahoma straight shot.

KENNESAW GA-CHEROKEE NC-KENNESAW GA
I make this run a couple times a month. Mostly because the casino gives me coupons for hundreds of dollars per trip. (long story). However with free hotel for 3 days any time I want it and the ability to resist the casino it makes it nice to get paid to ride the bike up there and hang out in the mountains.

ALPS TOUR FRANKFURT GERMANY
This trip was taken in July 2003. I will give a ride report as time permits.
Frankfurt German, Munich, Archensee Austria, Mayhofen Austria, Zell am Zee Austria, Grossglockner Glacier National Park, Dolomites Italy, Many passes, Passo de Stelvio, Riva de Gardia, Passo de Stelvio (Every rider must go!), Back to Austria, King Ludwigs castles, and back to Frankfurt.

ATL-ENGLEWOOD FLA (ONE WAY)

9:am 30 degrees. Depart for my first long ride on the R1100RT.
Clear and cold.
5:pm Arrived at Englewood Fla.
Uneventful. Enjoyed Sargent Seat, Heated Grips, and iPod.

ATL-SLIDELL LA (NEW ORLEANS)-ATL
February 2008:
11pm. 30 Degrees. I decided to see a friend outside of New Orleans for the weekend.
1am: On the road.
4:30am: (remember time zone change adds an hour) Arrive at Waffle House Slidell La. for breakfast.
Return trip:
6pm: 60 degrees.
South of Montgomery on 65 stopped for gas and ended up having the best BBQ pulled pork I ever ate. Getting cold.
